UGA Web Refresher Training

Welcome!

Welcome to the Radiation Safety Office (RSO) web-based radiation safety refresher. Completing this program will fulfill your yearly refresher training requirement.

This refresher is made up of a series of sections that must be completed in sequence. You will be able to go back to review information, but you will only be able to move forward after you have completed reviewing the material in a section.

This is not a test. You will not be evaluated on your responses to the questions. Please read the parts of each section carefully. At the end you will complete a registration form and submit any questions you have.

This refresher is set up in four sections:

This section will go over information to reinforce radiation safety and procedures as followed at UGA.

This section will cover areas of our program that need to be worked on to achieve better compliance.

This section covers any changes and how they will effect you as a radiation worker.

This section identifies the direction our program will be taking in the near future.

You will move through the refresher by reading information, answering questions and reviewing your answers. Continue buttons identify the end of each topic or answer. Pressing the continue button takes you to the next question or topic area.

BEFORE YOU GO ON

This web based course fulfills the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) requirement for yearly radiation refresher training at UGA. Because of this, you are asked to read and and agree to the following statment.

I understand that completing this web based program will fulfill my requirement for 2002 radiation safety refresher training at UGA; I agree to read each section and topic completely and in the order presented, to complete the short question and answer in each section, to fill out the registration form at the end, and to print a certificate to be kept on file in the lab. If I do not understand any part of this refresher I will direct my questions to the RSO for clarification.
